Maheni Arthur

Maheni is a poet, freelance writer and facilitator from South East London. As a poet and performer, her work explores what it means to be human in an ever changing and confronting world, drawing on her own personal experiences and understandings of relationships, identity, womanhood, mental health and social culture. Maheni has been part of Stockroom theatre company’s writers room since 2021, co-writing for theatre productions around the UK. Maheni was a participant of the Ministry of Stories’ Writing Facilitator Trainee Programme.
